The Wenaha Gallery 219 E. Main Street Dayton, WA 99328
Opens August 22, 2015 1-5 p.m.
This show is all about a journey. It’s all about my journey. For the past 30 years
I have pursued a career as a professional artist. I have created in many different
mediums...some mediums were old and comfortable while others were a completely new,
(and scary!) experience!
I had the privilege of teaching art for 15 years before I took this leap into the
professional world. Creativity “explodes” in a middle school art class. What a gift
that was to my path into the art world.
My passion has always been two-fold: Primitive ancient art forms, (rock art), and
the creatures of this earth. You will see that I have spent a fair amount of time
exploring these areas. The “journey” in recent years has been the focus on the “quirkiness”
of life. This is no doubt, due to a rather quirky husband in my life. Life is about
making people smile.
He makes me smile.
And so now a new journey: My husband and I are leaving the Northwest and beginning
a new adventure in the Southwest. It is time to explore, spend time with family
and friends, and see where it takes us.
I invite you to look at this web site which features the work I will be showing at
the Wenaha Gallery starting August 22, 2015.
Thank you for the interest you have shown in my work over the years.
